At the western edge of Rocky Mountain National Park sits the historic town of Grand Lake, Colorado. Once home to the Ute Indian Tribe, the spirit of the west is alive in Grand Lake, long after the tribe dispersed. The former County seat, Grand Lake lost the title in a wild west shoot-out. In the spring watch the wildlife emerge from Rocky Mountain National Park, cow moose and their young calves toddle across our local streets.
